Sky Ridge Farm is a working, mountain-top farm tucked in the Jamul Mountains, about 30 minutes from San Diego International Airport; designed as a regenerative, land-first retreat. It pairs the authenticity of a California farm stay with the comfort and privacy of luxury glamping, integrating orchards, lavender fields, and native habitat with chef-led dining, small-batch production, and restorative outdoor wellness.

Brisa Point is located on the northwestern edge of the arm, where the land drops away and the horizon expands. Wind-kissed and cinematic, it’s built for quiet awe, with sunsets that stop conversations and wide-sky views that can stretch toward the Pacific on clear days. It is one of Sky Ridge’s defining moments, visually striking, deeply memorable, and naturally shareable.

Progress
Over the last two years, Sky Ridge has been a true family build, driven by founder Michael Hayford. In that time, we’ve acquired the land, confirmed our entitlements, advanced environmental approvals, and completed early phase site planning and landscape strategy, while moving core engineering and design work into execution: architectural plans , civil engineering, utility planning are underway, and on-site brush reduction and clearing has already begun. The result is a project that’s past the “idea” stage and deep into real development backed by real progress, real planning, and a clear line of sight to welcoming guests.

When are you planning to complete construction?
We currently expect to complete construction of The Refuge at Sky Ridge Farm by December 2026, with guest stays anticipated to begin shortly thereafter, subject to final construction progress, inspections, permitting, and site readiness. Our goal is to open with a thoughtfully completed experience that reflects the quality, comfort, and sense of escape we’re building across the property.
What’s the best discount I can get?
Our VIP booking offers are expected to provide the best overall value we make available, combining our deepest early booking savings with added perks and priority access. If you want the strongest pricing, the best time to book will generally be during the VIP launch.
When can I book my stay?
We expect VIP bookings to begin in June, with guests invited to select their stay dates once booking access opens. Because Sky Ridge is still under development, that timing is subject to construction progress, permitting, inspections, and overall site readiness. If anything shifts, we’ll keep VIP guests updated as early as possible and provide booking access as soon as the property is ready to deliver the experience we’ve promised.
